If you’ve been following along here for a while, you know that this site has been my digital notebook – the place where I’ve tried to make sense of life, teaching in Tanzania, and everything in between.

Writing has always been my way of navigating the world, but as I move further into my 40s, I’ve realised I want something more than just a blog. I want a community.

That’s why I’m moving the conversation over to Substack.

Why the move?

I’m launching agirlcalledlynsey on Substack because it’s built for connection. It allows me to get my writing directly into your inbox, host community chats, and share the more personal, “unfiltered” musings that I’ve kept tucked away in private journals for years.

What’s changing?

Don’t worry! I’m still the same teacher in Tanzania, still over-analysing life and love, and still sharing the view from my classroom.

  • The “Old” Stuff: This WordPress site will stay up as an archive of where I started.
  • The “New” Stuff: From now on, all my fresh essays, stories from East Africa, and deep-dives into the messiness of life will be published at https://lynseylogan.substack.com/

Come join me!

I’d be so honoured if you’d join me in this new space. It’s free to sign up, and it’s the best way to make sure you never miss a post.

Thank you for being part of my writing journey so far. I can’t wait to see you over there.

With love,

Lynsey
